What's included in the 0.1 SOL base fee?
The base fee covers your token's name, symbol, total supply, decimals, logo upload to decentralised storage, and on-chain Metaplex metadata deployment to Solana mainnet. This is everything you need for a fully functional SPL token - ready to trade.
What are the optional add-ons?
Each add-on is +0.1 SOL: creator info (name + website), social links (Twitter/Telegram/Discord), revoke freeze authority, revoke mint authority, and revoke update authority. You only pay for the ones you want - add them individually or in any combination.
Can I change my token after creation?
Token name, symbol, and supply are immutable on-chain once minted. If you have not revoked update authority, you can update metadata. Revoking update authority permanently locks everything - double-check your details before revoking.
What are authority revocations?
Revoke freeze: prevents wallets from being frozen. Revoke mint: permanently caps the supply - no more tokens can be created. Revoke update: locks the metadata forever. Each is irreversible (+0.1 SOL) and helps signal trustworthiness to holders.
Are there any recurring or monthly fees?
None. SOLTokenLaunch is a pay-as-you-go platform. You pay the base fee once, plus any add-ons you select, and that's the complete cost. No subscriptions, renewals, or platform charges.
What's the maximum I could pay?
If you enable every option: base (0.1) + creator (0.1) + socials (0.1) + revoke freeze (0.1) + revoke mint (0.1) + revoke update (0.1) = 0.6 SOL total. Plus ~0.000005 SOL in Solana network gas.
What do most users actually pay?
Most users pay between 0.1 and 0.3 SOL. A basic token with creator info and social links is 0.3 SOL. Many projects start at 0.1 SOL and add options as they grow. The interactive calculator above shows your exact cost before you commit.
Is there a refund if something goes wrong?
Blockchain transactions are irreversible by nature. If a transaction fails before the token is minted, the service fee is not charged - only Solana network gas (~0.000005 SOL) may be consumed. If you experience issues, contact us and we'll help resolve them.
How do I pay?
Payment flows automatically through your connected Solana wallet when you confirm the transaction. No credit cards, accounts, or personal information required - just your wallet.
Do I need SOL in my wallet first?
Yes. You need enough SOL to cover the base fee, any add-ons, and a small gas buffer of ~0.005 SOL. We recommend having at least 0.2–0.5 SOL in your wallet before starting. You can buy SOL on Coinbase, Binance, or via your wallet's on-ramp (e.g. MoonPay) where available.
